Karl joined CSWR in November 2021 as Regional Manager for Texas, quickly expanding his realm of responsibilities to include operational oversight of Arkansas and in 2023, the addition of Arizona. His background includes increased roles of responsibility across several states, from the Southwest to the Northeast. Equipped with over 11 years of experience in water and wastewater utilities, Karl has demonstrated exceptional initiative and leadership combined with a deep understanding of the complexities of water and wastewater management.

Stephens holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Economics and earned his Master of Business Administration degree in 2021. He is a licensed operator in the state of Arizona with certifications in Wastewater Treatment, Collections, Water Treatment, and Distribution. His commitment to staying abreast of industry advancements and his ability to foster strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders have positioned Stephens as an exceptional leader poised for success in his new role.
