A former analyst for the State of Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources (DNR), Dick has led regulatory compliance efforts for CSWR for the past 18 months. In his new role, he will relocate from St. Louis to the Gulf South and coordinate operations and maintenance contractors and support regulatory efforts in Mississippi.
“Michael has been an essential part of our team since joining CSWR and has built strong relationships with our O&M partners and state agencies,” said Jo Anna McMahon, CSWR’s Director of Environment, Health and Safety. “We continue to hire and retain talented individuals so the choice to promote from within was an easy one.”
A native of Petersburg, Illinois, Dick studied environmental chemistry at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He ultimately landed at the Missouri DNR where he spent three years as a drinking water compliance specialist before joining CSWR.
“I’m thrilled about this new opportunity,” he said. “I’ve seen a broad range of conditions that water and wastewater customers are subjected to, and I am excited to continue to play an intricate role in ensuring we continue to bring safe, reliable and environmentally responsible water resources to every community we serve.”
