Central States Water Resources Promotes Mike Duncan to Vice President

Growth of company, successes attributed to Duncan’s leadership and dedication
St. Louis-based Central States Water Resources (CSWR) today announced it has promoted Mike Duncan to Vice President. Duncan oversees the company’s engineering processes, regulatory affairs and customer experience for the fast-growing water and wastewater utility serving customers in seven states across the U.S.

Duncan started with CSWR in 2018, as the director of business operations, quickly climbing the ladder to his current role through the rapid expansion of the business. His primary responsibilities include developing processes and project management for company operations, as well as investor and customer communication.

“Mike has been an essential driver of our success thus far and we are proud to promote him to this leadership role,” said Josiah Cox, President and Founder of CSWR. “Mike continues to lead our teams to growth and success across our organization.”

CSWR continues to invest in and improve failing water and wastewater systems across the United States to bring reliable infrastructure to largely rural communities, increasing safety and water quality for residents.

Duncan’s work on developing scalable processes has made it possible for CSWR to expand the business from 20 systems in two states serving 10,000 customers to their 2021 projection of 350 systems, in seven states serving 200,000 people.

Beyond his involvement in the business, Duncan is dedicated to his community through work with Mission St. Louis, Karis House Community Counseling, and supports initiatives across the realm of relationship building, walk alongside people on their pathway to self-sufficiency by removing barriers to employment and education. He also serves in his local church in helping to make a difference in his community.

Duncan, who lives in Brentwood, is married with three children and another on the way.

Duncan’s promotion comes during an expansion of the CSWR portfolio of managed and maintained water and wastewater services in Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
