Internships are excellent opportunities for students to build up real life work experience, typically in a field of interest. A valuable internship program should offer students the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, receive constructive feedback, grow their network of professionals, and develop connections with seasoned employees who will make fabulous mentors for them. Our paid CSWR Internship Program encompasses all these things and more – including engineering site trips both in and out of state.

One of our former interns, Olivia Eddings, reflected on a business trip she took last summer, “This last trip ultimately allowed me to build a better bridge between the work I’m conducting in the office and the impact that it potentially has on the communities that CSWR serves.” Affording interns the opportunity to make these connections for themselves truly does help them to understand the importance of the work they do during their time with us, and they can take that experience forward and apply it to their future careers.

We look forward to introducing you to each one of our new interns over the next few months, so stay tuned as we share a bi-weekly profile of our bright and best this summer!
